Morzine is a charming alpine village located by the France-Switzerland border. The resort is well-known for the thriving activities of golfing, walking and biking during the summer months and known as a family-orientated ski resort during the winter months. With a diverse selection of alpine chalets, hotels and apartments, the village has prime accommodation for family ski holidays, short breaks or corporate trips. Being just over an hour away from Geneva airport, Morzine is one of the easiest accessible ski resorts in The Alps.

Morzine is at a relatively low altitude of 900m, with connections to many other resorts across the Portes du Soleil ski area. Whether that be Chamossière at 1800m or Avoriaz at 2100m. Portes du Soleil is one of the largest ski areas in the world and consists of 12 resorts, 600km of slopes with all skiing abilities being catered for. Morzine is set in the heart of the Portes du Soleil region, with a total of 308 runs with many being picturesque tree-lined blue and red runs.

Off of the mountain, Morzine has lots of activities for families to enjoy, such as Husky sleigh rides, ice skating, sledging, snowmobiling, paragliding and swimming in the state of the arts swimming centre.
Christmas in Morzine is magical, with fireworks, Father Christmas’ grotto, carol service, festive markets and live music through the village.

Each year in March, the Portes du Soleil area plays host to Rock The Piste high-altitude music festival. Made up of around 35 concerts over a week, with a mix of live concerts and après concerts all located on the side of the piste! Morzine is the go-to destination during this time period.
