You’ve booked your ski chalet! So, what’s next on your ski holiday booking checklist?

So, you’ve booked your chalet with Meriski, but what’s next?

Our service here at Meriski doesn’t stop once a chalet is booked. We are always here to help guests with any after sales questions or requirements that they may have.

If you’ve not been on a ski holiday before or it’s been a while since your last one, you may not know all the things you need to think about. So, here’s our ski holiday booking checklist:

Travel – Book your flights and Meriski Airport Transfers as soon as possible to ensure you have the best choice and more importantly, the best price! The best flight times will always be the first to get booked up. If you don’t want to (or can’t) fly, driving is also an option (read our recent Blog for our guide on driving from the UK).

Ski School – If you have beginners or children in your group, booking ski lessons is next on the list. Again, the earlier you book, the more choice you will have – this is especially important during school holidays when lessons can get very booked up.

We also firmly believe that even experienced skiers can benefit hugely from booking a ski instructor or guide. Whether it’s for a refresher lesson to refine your technique or for an off piste adventure, we have a whole range of Instructors and Mountain Guides that we can recommend to enhance your enjoyment of the mountains.

Childcare – For little ones and/or older children who may not be ready to ski all day, you may want to consider childcare. Meriski are the only chalet company that have a dedicated crèche in resort as well as offering a Private Nanny service in the comfort of your own chalet.

Equipment Hire – once you have confirmed your booking with us, you will receive an exclusive discount code for ski hire with Meribel Ski Service. You can then pre-book your equipment online, which will be waiting for you on arrival in your chalet. A ski technician will then visit you to ensure it all fits perfectly.

Meriski Concierge Service – as the Meribel Specialists we have a comprehensive list of services and suppliers that we can recommend. From essentials like lift pass sales, to restaurant and spa treatment bookings as well as a range of mountain experiences such as ski touring, ski-joëring (behind horses!) and even Snow Yoga, we can help with it all.

Ski Fitness – this is often forgotten about but is arguably one of the most important elements of preparation for your ski holiday. Ensuring you are physically prepared for your ski holiday will maximise your enjoyment during the week as well as minimising your risk of injury. Our Meriski personalised training plan will have you ready to go!

These are all of the key elements for your ski holiday but if there is anything else you would like more information on, do call us on 01285 648518.

We look forward to helping you plan your perfect ski holiday!
