YOUR MERISKI CHALET “HOME FROM HOME”- SAFE AND CLEAN
We realise that the chalet is at the very heart of the experience on your ski holiday and Meriski will do our very best not to compromise the service provided in these changing times of Covid 19.
If your holiday cannot go ahead at the time of travel due to restrictions imposed by the French authorities linked to the coronavirus pandemic your deposit will be converted to a credit note for a Meriski holiday for the following season and the balance will be refunded. Alternatively, if you are happy for us to retain all the monies, then Meriski guarantees to hold the price for the same chalet and date for the following season
(subject to availability).
Whilst we have always been proud of our high standards of hygiene and cleanliness we recognise that we must now go further. We have put new cleaning measures and protocols in place for all our staff and as such the guest arrival time for all chalets is 16:00 with a strict departure time of 10:00. This will enable our staff to carry out a thorough deep clean of your accommodation. Additionally, your Chalet Host will not enter bedrooms during your stay to minimise guest/staff contact. All communal areas within chalets will be cleaned with products approved for effective use against viruses and bacteria. Particular attention will be paid to frequent contact surfaces. Hand sanitiser units will be readily available in all Meriski chalets.
The safety of our guests and staff is of paramount importance. Our staff will have their temperature checked at the beginning of each day and will wear face coverings throughout their time in the chalet.
We will be following the official French Government guidance on the use of hot tubs and saunas in all Meriski properties.
All guests will be required to wear a face covering at all times when travelling in a Meriski vehicle.
It is incumbent on us all to behave responsibly during the pandemic and therefore we ask all guests not to travel if you have any Covid 19 symptoms such as a fever, cough, shortness of breath or loss of taste or smell. We will take all guest temperatures upon arrival at the chalet and it is important to note for the safety of all, that any guest displaying symptoms will be denied entry to the chalet and will be requested to seek medical attention.
Our overriding wish is for all Meriski guests to have a relaxing, stress-free and enjoyable chalet experience and we are very happy to adapt our service to each groups differing needs and expectations. Therefore Meriski is adapting to the current global situation by extending our chalet offering to two separate booking options.
We will continue to offer the delightfully classic catered chalet option provided by your Meriski chef and host. This ever popular offering includes full breakfast, afternoon tea, fizz and canapés and a four course dinner, (dinner is on six nights out of seven). Your holiday also includes unlimited fine wines, beer and soft drinks throughout your stay. We can also fine-tune your catering and staff options to what you feel most comfortable with. For example if your party prefers more of an informal serve yourself meal, or a buffet, then this can all be arranged.
