Introducing Chateau St Pierre de Serjac
Here at Meriski we are, of course, best known for our knowledge of all things ski and, in particular, Méribel. However, we also have a wealth of travel knowledge about other regions that we would like to share with you.
Having built a loyal following over the years, we have an in-depth understanding of what our Meriski guests are looking for in a holiday.
So, let us introduce you to our first Meriski Partnership, Chateau St Pierre de Serjac, a new hotel and wine estate that both our Chairman, Colin Mathews, and Managing Director, Huw Davies, are delighted to recommend.
The Chateau is a beautifully converted wine estate with top-class facilities, set in the vineyards of the unspoilt Languedoc countryside in the South of France.
The estate offers a variety of accommodation options, from elegant hotel rooms in the main Chateau, to one- or two-bedroom apartments, plus a selection of two-, three- and four-bedroom self-catered private villas within the grounds, many with their own private, heated pools.
For guests staying in the self-catered villas, BBQ packs, pizzas and home-cooked specials can be provided.
“The villas have been tastefully designed to provide the homely comforts that are appreciated by the discerning client.” Colin
At Meriski, we are passionate about our food and drink and, therefore, it goes without saying that the food and wine on offer at the Chateau are both excellent and will be a highlight of your holiday.
With deliciously simple, classic Mediterranean-style dishes on offer, there is an excellent value three-course menu at lunchtime and à la carte dining in the evening. A superb wine list, including the estate’s own wines, will complete your dining experience.
“The restaurant facilities, both inside and outside, complement the fine cuisine that is on offer – something for every palate.” Huw
For days spent at the Chateau, there is a stunning 30-metre heated main pool, with bar service, as well as trail maps for cycling and running, a tennis court, kids’ club for 4- to 12-year-olds* and beautiful spacious gardens with a boules and barbecue area.
For a small daily charge*, guests can also enjoy all the facilities of the beautiful Spa, which offers a range of treatments, as well as a pool, steam room and terrace looking over the vineyards.
For those who wish to venture out, the Languedoc is a truly captivating part of the South of France. Take your time to explore the charming hilltop villages, vineyards with boutique wineries and the local markets; all set within beautiful rolling countryside. The coast of the Mediterranean, with its sandy beaches and famous oyster beds, is also just a short drive away.
Travelling to and from the Chateau could not be easier. It’s just 20 minutes from Beziers airport, 45 minutes from Montpellier, and two hours from Toulouse. Car hire or return airport transfers can also be arranged.
* Exclusive offer when booking through Meriski: Complimentary access to the spa facilities for adults only (not including treatments), worth €18 per person per day, and one kids’ club place per family for five half-day sessions, worth €25 per session. In addition, book by 31st January 2017 and receive a magnum of champagne delivered to your door!
