Villa Lucarelli

Set in the heart of Chianti with outstanding views over the Tuscan countryside, Villa Lucarelli delights all who stay there with its appealing style, panoramic terraces and beautiful private pool with gently sloping ‘beach access’. With outstanding views over the valleys below, tower and internal patio, this unusual property is a most comfortable and attractive holiday home. With French windows opening out to the internal patio or the gardens, all rooms on the ground floor, furnished in elegant country style, are light and airy. The sitting rooms and dining areas with colour washed walls, comfortable sofas, have highly polished terracotta floors with rugs, pretty light fittings and prints. At this level there is also a large kitchen opening out onto a terrace and the garden and a pretty bedroom with four poster bed opening out to the garden. In the internal patio there is a large vine covered pergola and marble topped table, ideal for al fresco dining. At first floor and second floor level the bedrooms are all decorated in this pretty style with colour washed walls and some ethnic covers and botanical prints. The tower bedroom has wonderful views. The property is set in a glorious Tuscan garden with cypress trees, rosemary and other mature trees and shrubs. The terraces at the front of the house are the perfect spot for admiring the magnificent Tuscan views. From here a pathway leads to the beautiful swimming pool with infinity edge and large shallow end for children. From here there are glorious views over the hills and valley below.

Important information

Arrival at this villa is between 4 and 8 pm.
After 8 pm a fee of Euro 50 is payable and after 10 pm the fee is Euro 100.
Any late arrival after 8pm is on request and needs to be agreed in advance.
Please kindly note that after midnight – if an arrival is possible – the extra cost is Euro 100 per hour.

RESIDENT HOUSEKEEPER

At the rear of the property there is a converted barn where the housekeeper lives.
