Villa Concetta

This elegant, spacious villa cushioned in an oasis of lush terraced Mediterranean gardens is set over three levels with magnificent easterly views from all levels down to the coastline and beaches with the Italian mainland clearly visible on the horizon. The uppermost floor features the main open plan living and dining spaces, complete with a bespoke kitchen area, open plan dining, sitting area and a separate bathroom. Leading out from the dining area, a shaded terrace has seating and an outdoor table for 10 people with gas barbecue and there is a further panoramic terrace area furnished with outdoor sofas for relaxation in the sun with umbrellas. The master bedroom with furnished terrace and shower room en suite is set on the middle level, with a further double bedroom and a bedroom with a large single bed suitable for two children or one adult. These rooms share a large bathroom with bath, walk in shower and sea views. The spacious lower floor is also decorated in contemporary style, and benefits from a light open plan space with a kitchenette, dining area, seating and TV. At the other end of the lower floor, there’s a double bedroom (can be twin) with a shower room. Below the gardens and gorgeous terraces of the lower ground floor is the infinity pool with pool house with WC and reached by steps and pathway from the villa. A small gym with shower room is below the pool and further steps lead down to the parking area for room for four cars and lower entrance gate. There are entrances from both the top and bottom of the villa gardens.  

This elegant property is set just off one of the roads that leads to one of the main entrances of Taormina and just a 10-minute walk to the boutiques of Corso Umberto and to the centre of this picturesque town – and the Greek theatre. The cable car to and from the beach and bus station are even closer. A stepped path near to the lower entrance of the villa leads down to the beach and the two magnificent bays of  Mazzarò and Isola Bella with lidos (beach clubs with sunbeds, umbrellas to hire), further shops and restaurants. Guests can enjoy swimming, scuba diving, boat trips, windsurfing. The stepped walk downhill is a very pleasant 15 minutes, but you can opt for the easier three-minute cable car when coming back up. Therefore car hire is not essential and airport transfers are available. 

In the evening guests gather at the top of the villa to relax with drinks and dine admiring the views as the lights come on at dusk. Taormina is well known as an elegant historic resort town, visited by film stars and celebrities and guests can enjoy browsing the elegant boutiques, pastry shops, and panoramic restaurants and enjoy the lively arts festival held at the Greek theatre. Please note that there are extensive steps at the property, down from the entrance gate and between the different levels of accommodation and the pool terrace area. This property is therefore not suitable for those with limited mobility. 

Please note that the preferred suppliers for the villa must be used for any additional services. Unknown extra staff are not permitted at the villa.
