The lowdown
‘Expect the unexpected’ is the slogan for this quirky 4* hotel in the Austrian Alps. With cacti, technicolour prints and unique pieces of art, it certainly lives up to the name. This luxurious modern and recently renovated hotel offers traditional hospitality with a contemporary twist. With two sister hotels just nearby, you’ll find yourself in the very heart of St Anton, the historical birthplace of skiing, with hundreds of kilometres of runs at your fingertips. Back in the hotel, indulge in an impressive spa with a sauna, steam bath, infrared cabin and various chill-out zones. In the evening, choose from three wild and creative dining options, or explore the best of what the village has on offer. Located close to the centre of St. Anton am Arlberg, about a 5-minute walk from the shops and a 10-minute walk to the ski lifts.
- Recently renovated spa with fitness area, outdoor pool and various alternative saunas and steam baths

- Creative and quirky decor a break from tradition Alpine atmosphere
Decor
From the outside, the hotel is a traditional picture, with wooden balconies and panoramic snowy views. The hotel’s philosophy is to go against the grain, however, and through the interiors they’ve created a unique mix of extravagant modern design and typical Tyrolean cosiness. Expect indoor plants, funky fabrics and the utmost comfort.

Après ski and dining
The Raffl’s mini-chain of hotels offers three dining options within the village of St Anton, all a short walk from one another, and naturally none of them stick to the status quo. There’s a baroque-style sushi restaurant called Seven Sky, avant garde fine dining at Raffl’s Eat Art, and a wildly creative tack on raclette and fondue at Sticky Fingers. Buckle up and enjoy. Oh, there’s also an old school Churchill Bar full of leather armchairs and whisky bottles, and a private venue for parties and events.
Spa and Wellness
Raffl’s ‘wellness temple’ includes the Parlour Sauna, Finnish Sauna, Brine and Aroma Steam Baths, Luis Trenker Infrared Cabin and a spacious relaxation room. Guests can also follow the light in the underground tunnel into the hotel’s eccentric Garden of Eden, the new ‘Wellnessolymp’ featuring an outdoor pool, whirlpool, massage salon and fitness room.
