Spiros Kasomitria

With colour-washed walls, shuttered windows and attractively arched covered terraces, the design of Kasomitria is typically Corfiot. Its glorious gardens simply emphasise the island character, a riot of colour from the huge swathes of bougainvillea to the pinks, pastels and brilliant reds of flowers and trailing plants. Set on the hillside above the sea, the villa encompasses six self-contained apartments, built across various levels so that each enjoys the exquisite views of the bay from its private balcony. Spiros is on the first floor of the building and has an air-conditioned twin bedroom, compact kitchen/diner, and bright little sitting room. Communal facilities for Kasomitria’s guests include a ten-metre swimming pool, and a barbecue area. Two or more of the apartments could be booked together for groups of friends.
