About the villa

Large heated pool | Concierge service | Set on prestigious private estate with shared beach and tennis court

Tiered into the hillside above the island’s stunning northwest coast, Son Balagueret basks in the beauty of a large private country estate, a hideaway house down a 3km track off the coast road to Valldemossa. Guests are free to roam the 1,500 hectare grounds, and there is a coastal path to the picturesque coastal village of Banyalbufar, with a pebble beach just a 40 minute walk away. The villa is built in traditional Mallorquin style and is full of history, with the original turret dating back to the 13th century, but offers very contemporary comforts, and each bedroom is complete with en suite bath or shower room. The bedrooms offer plenty of privacy, with the master bedroom occupying the first floor, the second double bedroom found in the tower, and a twin room in the annexe. A further bedroom has been added for the upcoming season.
 

On the ground floor there is a modern kitchen with rustic touches, and a spacious but cosy living/dining room with steps up to a separate television area. A second sitting room is found in the tower. The sheltered central courtyard with outside kitchen and barbecue and the soft seating area with panoramic sea views offer excellent spots to relax, while the delightful dining terrace is perfect for al fresco dinners. Steps lead down from the villa to the lovely private heated pool surrounded by flower-filled gardens. There is a tennis court on the estate, which Son Balagueret shares with sister villas Sa Punta and Sa Terra.
