The lowdown

Skyfall penthouse is a truly outstanding home that gracefully fuses new and old-world design, paying attention to detail with bespoke furnishings and finishing’s throughout. Set over the top two floors of a beautiful building in the heart of the Alberg valley, Skyfall Penthouse is well located just 50m from the piste and a 5-minute walk into the village of St Christoph. Guests can opt for a full catered option, with Champagne, canapés and exquisite food for six of their seven nights, or go self-catered and enjoy the charming restaurants nearby. The penthouse has its own sauna and hammam, and guests at have free use of all facilities at the Hospiz Hotel, which include a full spa and swimming pool as well as childcare.

Decor

The interior design at Skyfall embraces texture and pattern, with padded fabric walls and tasteful wood throughout. The gorgeous living room draws guests in with its modern open fireplace, and offers ample seating in a large L-shaped sofa or one of two elegant armchairs. Daylight pours into this room through the many windows, affording spectacular mountain views. The well-equipped kitchen is bright and tastefully completed with dark marble counter-tops and engaging contemporary artworks which adorn one wall. On the lower floor, you’ll find a cinema room with large screen and Apple TV.

The penthouse’s four bedrooms are thoughtfully located at each corner of this floor, each with stunning views and their own bathrooms. A four-person bunk room is perfect for children to have their own space, and there’s also a small staff bedroom with a separate shower room for your dedicated chalet team.

Location

Situated in the heart of St Christoph, the apartment is a five minute walk into the village and a three minute walk to the lifts. The Austrian ski village is located at 1800 meters, and has wonderful access to the Arlberg ski area. 

Après ski and dining

Skyfall Penthouse is available on a fully catered Alpine Luxe Basis, with dinner six nights a week. Enjoy a hearty breakfast, with a selection of delicious healthy mueslis, yoghurts from the local dairy, pastries and beautiful fruit platters, as well as smoothies, charcuterie and local cheeses. After skiing, return to the apartment for an indulgent freshly baked afternoon tea with sweet and savoury options – your host will be on hand to prepare fresh Kusmi Tea, Nespresso coffee and hot chocolate. In the evening, Veuve Clicquot Champagne and a selection of appetising canapés are served before dinner. Next, sit down for a three-course dinner shared with your family and friends, followed by a locally-inspired cheeseboard and a fireside digestif or coffee. Dinner is accompanied by a wonderful selection of European wines.

Perfect for family groups, with a children’s bunk room and easy access to ski-school in the village center. Childcare available on request.

Within the penthouse, guests can take advantage of a private hammam and sauna. The Hamman has emerald green mosaic tiles, while the sauna has a window letting in light and peeping directly onto the pistes. Guests also have free use of all facilities at the Hospiz Hotel, which is a five minute walk away and includes a full spa and swimming pool as well as childcare.
