The lowdown

Ideally situated in the centre of Val D’isére, the Hotel Kandahar is just a short walk from the beautiful slopes and all the village has to offer. The hotel sleeps 46 in a combination of rooms and suites. It has been designed to cater for all group types, from families with children, couples, friends, and those all-important business trips. The location of the hotel makes access to all the best ski rental equipment stores and village shopping effortless. A short walk from La Bellevarde and Solaise lifts means you won’t waist any of your precious time commuting to the slopes in the morning. To prepare you for the day ahead, the hotel’s restaurant “La Taverne d’Alsace” provides a classical buffet style breakfast with everything from cold cuts, to freshly baked patisseries. In the evening, a delicious French and regional menu has been designed to please every palate. Eclectic and wonderfully varied, the wine list provides options from all regions of France to pair with your dinner of choosing. After and between skiing or eating, the hotel also has a sauna and steam room unlimited for guest use, as well as a masseuse service available to book. Furthermore, you can enjoy evening drinks in the cosy lounge, or cocktails at the bar. Children can keep happily entertained in the games and TV room. The hotel also offers a baby-sitting service, available to book should you wish for some one-to-one time. Family room:

Après ski is different for everyone, but don’t worry Hotel Kandahar has you covered. Grab a drink in the lounge or at the bar to unwind after a ay of skiing, and prepare you for your evening ahead. Alternatively, the hotels’ prime location lands you a stone’s throw from the town centre where you will be spoilt for choice with bars and live music venues. Similarly, the town is great to explore with many fabulous shops offering the top end of mountain fashion, as well as lovely delis and patisseries. If you fancy exploring the town in the evening for dinner, the staff at the hotel are happy to help you choose from the array of restaurants around Val D’isère town, from burgers and pizzas, traditional French cuisine, fine dining and more.
