Chalet Tomkins
The original Chalet Tomkins was built in 1958 by one of the founding fathers of Méribel, on an old goat track which is now Route des Chalets, THE most exclusive address in Méribel. The new chalet was completely rebuilt in 2002 by it’s new owner, Sir Edwards’ daughter, on a much larger scale and has had a complete interior and exterior refurbishment in 2017. Chalet Tomkins is a stylish, comfortable and sociable chalet, ideal for larger groups and now with more than a hint of glamour…
The main piste into town (Doron) is a couple of minute’s walk from the chalet and the piste is accessed just above the fast six-man Adret chairlift linking you into the system without having to go to Chaudanne. During most of the season it is possible to ski directly back to the chalet. Chalet Tomkins is a ‘fun’ chalet to stay in, great for 2 or 3 families, as well as being the perfect place to unwind in tranquility and comfort after a hard day’s skiing in the heart of ‘Les Trois Valleés’.
The chalet is fully staffed (chef, manager, house keeper and chauffeur who all live-out) with a choice of catering options – ‘a la carte’ (your choice of food paid at COST at the end of your stay) or ‘tout compris’ all inclusive including food and drink. Tout comprises is an additional (€ 424.20 / Once) per adult an (€ 250 / Once) for children (2-15yrs) – all inclusive.

A la Carte price does not include;
Drinks – each chalet has a selection of wines, champagnes, soft drinks, beer, bottled water and Nespresso; you just pay for what you have used at the end of your stay. We are able to source specific wines and spirits on request
Food – your choice of food is charged at COST at the end of your stay when the grocery bills are totalled This allows you the flexibility to choose what you eat and the number of courses you have, invite friends for dinner or drinks, lunch and/or dine in working to your specifications. Location
Chalet Tomkins is located on the exclusive Route des Chalets in Méribel, good for fast ski access to the skiing around Méribel and the wider Three Valleys area.
A three minute walk up the Route des Chalets takes you to the main piste into town (Doron). This piste is a blue run and takes you right down to the Chaudanne where the main ski lifts and ski schools are found. The piste is accessed just above the fast six-man Adret chairlift linking you into the system without having to go to Chaudanne if you don’t wish to. On return, you can leave the piste just below Rond Point where you can find a route through the back of the garden to ski straight back to the chalet. Alternatively, unclip your skis at the Route des Chalets and take a short walk down the road back to the front door.
This chalet is just a few minutes drive to the busy main high street of Méribel Centre and only 8 minutes by car to the main Chaudanne lift area.
