The lowdown

Skye’s number one selling point is its unbeatable location. Just a short walk away from the Medran lift station, you have easy and quick access to the main pistes in the resort. You are also just a short walk from town, where you will find all the best shops, restaurants, and après ski bars.

Once you enter the beautiful apartment you will be struck by the panoramic view, complimented by the south-west facing balcony, which makes for an ideal spot to enjoy a drink and marvel at the view. The open plan living and dining area makes for a perfect social space to gather pre- or post-ski to enjoy a delicious breakfast and gourmet style 3-course dinner.

Decor

A traditional Swiss alpine chalet featuring plenty of woods, varnished to compliment the surrounding features and beautiful views. Chalet Skye has been designed for socialising and comfort. The large social spaces are open-plan for optimal spacing. Two sofa areas are spread over the living area, both compliments by open fire-places. They have been finished with faux-fur rugs and plenty of pillows for a cosy evening in next to the open fire place. The lighting is golden and low, which perfectly complements the dark varnished woods, and bright sunshine light that streams in from outside. 

Rooms and Suites

Chalet Skye sleeps 10 people across 5 en-suite rooms. Each room feels cosy yet spacious, with low lighting to create a tranquil ambience to relax and sleep. 

Room 1 (double bedroom) 

located on the top floor, with access to a private balcony which overlooks the beautiful Swiss mountains. The private en suite also has a bath, for those who enjoying soaking away their achy muscles.   

Room 2 (double bedroom) 

located on the top floor, with access to a private balcony which overlooks the stunning mountain range. The private en suite also has a bath, for those who enjoy an indulgent soak. 

Room 3 (double bedroom) 

located on the ground floor, with plenty of storage and a spacious en suite. 

Room 4 (Twin bedroom)

 located on the lower floor (adjacent with the other twin room) with private access to the balcony which overlooks the beautiful Swiss mountains.

Location

Chalet Skye sits in the charming village of Verbier, with access to 800km of ski routes suitable for all levels of skiers. Skye is situated just a 2-minute walk from the Medran ski lift, providing you access to the whole resort with zero effort. In addition, Chalet Skye is also in a perfect spot for easy access to the best restaurants and après ski bars in town. 

Après ski and dining

The dining area has the capacity to seat 12 people. 

By choosing to go fully catered at chalet Skye, guests get to enjoy extravagant and tantalising food prepared and served by an onsite chef and kitchen staff. Breakfast usually prepared in a continental style, with plenty of fruit and fresh pastries. An exquisite four-course dinner is available six out of the seven nights of your stay, with the option to add Champagne or canapes to make the evening that much more special.  You will also be served the best hand selected wines in Europe with your meal!  Be sure also to try afternoon tea at the chalet, which provides delicious sweet and savoury treats alongside your tea or coffee. With fully catered, Chalet Skye seeks to provide an all-inclusive experience that is specifically tailored to your tastes and desires.

If guests choose self-catered, you will have the opportunity to explore the village of Verbier which hosts many incredible bars and restaurants. With this option, guests have all of the comforts of the chalet and all of the excitement of the village action.

The concierge service is also available to make any restaurant reservations necessary to help make your stay as effortless as possible.

Wellness

 Though it doesn’t have a spa area, the two lounge areas in the chalet make for the perfect relaxation space for all the party. Enjoy a drink and some music or snuggled in front of a film, both at the same time if needs be! The living and dining area also has a large balcony with seating space and facilities outside. Perfect for taking in the spectacular panoramic view of the Swiss mountains in the morning or during sunset. 

Children

 All food served in the Chalet will be tailored to young guests to ensure they enjoy their experience just as much as others.
