A beautifully renovated four storey home in the Swiss Alps, Chalet Les Etrennes benefits from being fully renovated in 2017. The chalet sleeps 12 guests comfortably, and has all the facilities you’d look for in a luxury alpine retreat – a sunken hot tub and steam room to warm up in, cosy wood burning fireplaces, and a private chef to cater to your every need with hearty breakfasts, afternoon tea and elegant four course dinners. Communal spaces also include a cosy TV room and library, with a mezzanine and large sliding doors open out onto the terrace.

Decor
The finish and level of craftsmanship throughout Chalet Les Etrennes is second to none, and every piece has been carefully selected to create a relaxing and luxurious atmosphere. You enter the chalet on the ground floor into the entrance hall with the ski room directly ahead of you, where there is plenty of space for you to store skis and boots after a long day on the slopes. Throughout the property, stylist wood, suede and bespoke furniture add a sense of contemporary luxury.

Location
Chalet Les Etrennes is ideally located in Verbier – tucked away on the south west-facing Savoleyres side yet easily accessible to the village. The chalet has sublime views encompassing the village below, the pistes of Verbier and the imposing Mont Blanc massif. What’s more, the pistes are just a short drive away or guests can take the complimentary bus service which stops at the end of the road (a 250m walk). Verbier is known as one of the best in the world, sitting at a height of 1,500km above sea level and offering access to 800km of ski routes through the Swiss Alps.
Après ski and dining
Chalet Les Etrennes is available on a catered or self-catered basis, and normally comes with a dedicated driving service when sold on a fully catered basis. Those opting for a fully catered holiday will be treated to six evenings of fine dining from a resident private chef, as well as hearty cooked and continental breakfast each morning, and a freshly baked afternoon tea when you get home. In the evening, canapes and Champagne lead into sumptuous four course dinners dedicated to your tastes, along with carefully paired wines.

With a fully catered experience, guests have access to exclusive services provided by the chalet and resort. A ski instructor will be available for two days during your stay to offer help and guidance on any queries you may have regarding the skiing conditions. A private driver will also be at your disposal to take you to and from wherever you need to go. In addition, a private concierge service will be on hand to take care of any reservations or to provide recommendations at any time.
