Setting yourself up for a great day on the slopes and rewarding yourself afterwards are some of the best elements of a skiing holiday. You’ll start your day with a beautifully presented breakfast of fruit juices, a freshly made “smoothie” or fruit / vegetable juice, fresh coffees, teas, yoghurts, cereals, porridge, a hot dish – like a “Eggs Royale” or a “full English breakfast”, jambon cru, cheeses, fresh fruit salad, fresh bread and freshly baked croissants and jams. After your day on the slopes, homemade cakes and biscuits await you in the sitting room. Dinner is the pièce de résistance. Before your meal, canapés and champagne allow you to unwind in true style. You’re then treated to an exceptional four-course meal, rounded off with freshly ground coffee, a digestif and homemade truffles.
We’re more than happy to tailor your meals to your dietary preferences. A range of teas, coffees and fresh fruit are available at any time along with the complimentary bar of champagne, wine, spirits, beer and mixers.
Beautiful food deserves only the finest wine, which is why the wine list is composed by the acclaimed Master of Wine and owner of Savage Selection wines, Mark Savage. Mark brings interesting, small production wines to the table, all deeply characteristic of their origin and beautifully paired with the food. What better way to end a fantastic day on the slopes?
Chalet Margaux’s hand-painted interior décor and traditional wood exterior lend it a timeless elegance that is bound to charm any visitor – it is quaint and old-fashioned, a world away from large international hotels. Guests enjoy the charm of a bygone era while enjoying the luxuries of the indoor hot tub, well-stocked wooden bar and Egyptian cotton sheets. The chalet’s ornately carved wraparound balconies offer stunning views of the surrounding peaks.

Chalet Margaux has an enviable location in the center of Courchevel 1850, a high-altitude resort which enjoys a long season of reliable snowfall. With a central ski-in ski-out position beside the Cospillot piste, the chalet still manages to feel secluded, tucked away amongst the trees in the secure gated commune of Le Hameau de Bellecôte.
Après ski and dining
Guests will enjoy freshly prepared breakfast every day before hitting the slopes, as well as afternoon tea and cakes to come back to. For six out of seven evenings, a sumptuous four course dinner with selected wines will be prepared for guests, tailored to your preferences and wishes.
There are books, games, a PlayStation 3 with games, and a widescreen TV with Apple TV full access to UK Sky channels. Most of the rooms have space for a cot too.
Spa and wellness
Enjoy a glass of chilled champagne in the wood-clad indoor hot tub, perfect even for the snowiest days, before curling up by the fire in a fluffy cotton dressing gown and slippers.
