A Merry(ski) Christmas!

With only 78 days left until Christmas, it’s time to start planning – the food, the decorations, ordering the turkey, the Christmas tree, the list goes on and on. But why not take all the stress out of Christmas and spend it skiing in the Alps with Meriski? 

We may be a little biased but we think Meribel is one of the most picturesque resorts in France and there is arguably no better time to enjoy it than with the Christmas lights twinkling throughout the town. In the run up to the day itself the resort is alive with festive markets and music, culminating in carol singing in the village centre on Christmas Eve.

Arriving at your chalet you will find it festively decorated including the all-important Christmas tree and for the little ones a visit from Father Christmas is always a highlight of the week. As an added bonus for the Christmas week you will enjoy Champagne before dinner every evening and a choice of Christmas Eve or Christmas Day dinner complete with crackers. Christmas morning begins with smoked salmon and bucks fizz before heading out to enjoy some Christmas skiing and perhaps a festive lunch in a cosy mountain restaurant.   

And the best bit of all? Your chalet host is on hand to clear up and do the dishes!
